1. Require photo ID and voter registration card to vote.
We have seen voter fraud on both sides of the ballot. The latest episode was perpetuated by Acorn in the 2008 election. If we require a photo ID and a voter registration card, we would cut down on close to 90% of voter fraud. We require photo ID to buy beer and cigarettes, why can’t we require them to vote? We require them to cash a check and get rental cars Why not to vote?

2. Form a 10th Amendment Commission.
Our nation has drifted away from the Constitution. The amendment we has strayed from the most is the one that can bring us back to our foundation. The 10th Amendment states, “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.” If we formed a 10th Amendment Commission that enforced this enviably simple amendment it would limit the federal government to the size envision by our Founding Fathers.

3. Loser Pays
Our legal system is flooded with frivolous law suits. Insanely stupid cases like $63 Million for a pair of pants, or $2.7 Million for a cup of coffee. If we adopt a loser pays system it would drastically cut into people suing because they want a golden goose to pay through the wallet for stupidity or vengeance.

4. Enact the Fair Tax Act
There way too many reasons to adopt the Fair Tax to list all of them here. But I will give you the cream of the crop.
• You get to bring home your ENTIRE paycheck;
• You get almost $500 a month prebate from the government to offset the taxes you would pay for bare necessities;
• Almost $16 Trillion of corporate money that is currently offshore would come back to our economy;
• Everyone pays the same percent in taxes, even illegal aliens and criminals;
• (best of all) You NEVER have to file your income taxes again!!!! April 15 is just another day.

5. Allow School Vouchers
We should have the freedom of choice to send our children to the school of our choice. Private Home School or Public, religious or secular, Its about choice. If the money our government spends on each child would follow each child, it would provide a great environment for competition and would break the hold that the teachers unions have on our kids. Our kids would get a much better education and would stimulate the economy.

6. Require all government agencies to justify their existence annually.
If each government agency had to justify each year its budget and it very existence, we would have a much smaller government. Maybe they would present their case to the 10th Amendment Commission that has the mandate to shrink the size of our federal government. As it stands once a department or agency is started it never goes away. This fosters our now rampant entitlement mentality and slows our economy to a crawl.

7. Demand Constitutionalist judges.
The standard we live by is the Constitution. Our laws’ foundation are the words given to us by our framers. Why then do we place on the bench those who do not wish to protect the Constitution. Our courts are full of judges that wish to change the meaning of our most revered document into their own agenda. We must demand from our government judges that strive not to change the Constitution but to uphold it.

8. Health insurance reform.
This is a big issue lately, and let me say that the only way to improve our health care system is not by giving control of it to the government. There are many ways to make health insurance more available. Here are a few ideas:
• Make it possible to purchase insurance across state lines
• Buy only the benefits you need. (i.e. If you are male or older why pay for maternity benefits?)
• Give individuals the same tax breaks as companies get. That way you can get your own insurance.
• Tax deductions for those who can’t afford insurance.
• Allow Health Savings accounts. Instead of paying for insurance you save for the occasional emergency.

9. Close the borders.
If aliens wish to come to America, let them come by legal means. We should stop the invasion coming from our southern border. We should seize all assets of those that employ illegal aliens. We should capture and deport all that are here illegally. If FedEx can track a billion packages a day, we can track all the illegal aliens. Send them home.

10. Require a balanced budget.
If we spend more than we make at my house, there is a lot of hell to pay. Now multiply that to a national scale. We MUST live within our means. Debt is a form of slavery. It is a kind of indentured servitude that robs each citizen of freedom given to us by our Creator. I would like to see us go back to the Gold Standard we had before the Great Depression, but I think that is beyond our reach now. But if our Government was forced to work within a balanced budget system you would see a drastic reduction in fraud and theft from the American citizen.

All of these suggestions are designed to bring us closer to the nation that our Founding Fathers had created for us. It was their dream that we would cherish the freedom they provided for us. But we slowly trade our freedoms for less control of our lives and our choices.
